Except for the residual color left between the orangish and red pepers this is a nicely done desat image.

Looks like the width of your border is uneven between the right and left sides.(I'm not talking about the top and bottom borders having a different width than the left and right sides) Don't know if you used Photoshop for this but you always want to enter only even numbers for the border width. Entering an odd number results in one side being a pixel wider than the other.

This is an awesome shot, Shanny! So creative! The sand around the frame is a tad distracing though, and I think if you smoothed it out with something, like maybe a watering can? would have improved this heaps. Just a suggestion though and still a fantastic shot:) Love your work!
