Mother and Daughterby all4uComment by rossbilly: Nice sentiment, and good idea, but could this benefit from a tighter crop & some fill-lighting (to increase the strength of the mother & daughter)?

contemplation...by all4uComment by nfessel: Technically, this photo is bad. There are blowouts, it is crooked and it is flat. However, the mood it evokes makes me forget about the technical merits. Great shot. |

-Horizon is a bit tilted... a minor adjudstment.
-Love the black and white
-Great angle
-Nice overall feel of the photo
-Wish I could see the profile of her face rather than just the back of her head

contemplation...by all4uComment by mist: Wonder what this would be like with colour? As it is, I would like to see some kind of point of interest in the distance, this doesn't "grab" me in, and the water doesn't have quite the calm quality that it'd need to be a zen-like shot |
