I like the basics of this. I might crop about 2 inches off of the bottom. This would be really cool in black and white too. The focus and clarity of the eyes makes this really nice.

I really like the soft colors and tones in this one. The taller grasses add nicely to the balance of the composition. While I like this style of framing (and am wondering how you do it) it seems a bit heavy on this particular picture.

Your frames make even a casual image formal. Frames are a part of the visual language. Without it, with regard to this photo, the viewer would overlook it. But with the frame, the viewer is demanded to take a closer look, regardless. It's like a stamp of authority - and endorsement. I expect you're a political PR person in your other job ;-)
