i think this would have done better for you if you had straightened up your horizon and cropped in as tight as possible. it's not easy to do this in an action shot (you're pretty much having to shoot in a photojournalistic style). good eye, good capture--keep it up!

640 pixels is allowed for image size & you'll find that you fare much better when you use full size. The photo is quite dark. [6]
