Nice pic and capture, Marc. A nice and deserving score. Like the composition and framing. Brings me back to when I used to work downtown, not too far from this spot. I think some more traffic might have improved it a bit, or maybe a couple blurred buses on either side if you could have caught them at just the right time.

I think, with much less (~1/4) of the sky this picture would be much more effective (all the leading lines and main subjects would be kept but the washed-out area on the top would be minimized).

There is something here this, particularly in b/w, that I really like - it's probably the angle of the compostion and I'm enjoying the noise. It all works together, including the frame, for an excellent image.

Yay for the Lensbaby! (I hope I am guessing right) If it is, I love the dreamy effect of this heavenly statue! The grain of the shot gives it all the more an ethereal look to it.
