On Edgeby macrothingComment by Mr_Pants: The vivid colour certainly stands out, although perhaps it might be a touch too vivid ofr my tastes, especially in the lower right. |

Mrs Misumenaby macrothingComment by Jutilda: I wish the spider were more focused - maybe he is and it's just opaque. Hmmmm
The use of negative space is good. I like the crop. The water droplets add some nice shadowing to the petals. |

Black Grainby macrothingComment by Tammer: While you do have grain in your photo, for me, the whites have been overblown with post-processing...although you might have been going for a certain look. I do wonder how this would have looked as a simple black and white with a bit of contrast and the same amount of grain. |

Black Grainby macrothingComment by JunieMoon: Nice use of color. Also found the strong light to be useful in creating the image. Grain is well used, especially in the pink and purple tones. |

Mrs Misumenaby macrothingComment by Qart: I know I really like this image but am not sure why... It meets the challenge very well but I can't tell if it's the colors or comp that works so well... I KNOW it's not the spider... :) |
