Pleasantly Purpleby jaxterComment by saracat: Quite purple, but why? Not to offend, but it doesn't seem as though there is a purpose for the desat other than to fit the challenge. It's pretty, there just doesn't seem to be a point to it. Nothing to keep a viewer's attention, as it were. |

Pleasantly Purpleby jaxterComment by Tygerr: Selection for the desat seems a bit rough around the edges - seems to distract from the sharpness of the rest of the flower. |

Pemaquid Lightby jaxterComment by Falc: A prime candidate for a graduated neutral density filter. The sky and the building are 2 stops over exposed, but the rock is perfect. The grad filter would have brought them much closer together |

The Classicsby jaxterComment by Shan2112: interesting - I kind of like the layout or crop - good choice to include the wood around the books - it frames it rather nicely. the focus could be much better in my opinion, good title though and certainly meets the challenge :) |

The Classicsby jaxterComment by Gene L.: The hard lighting (caused from a small light source) has created some unpleasant glare. Overall the image seems a bit soft, I suppose this could be camera shake. If this exposure was longer than 1/100 sec, did you use a tripod and trigger with a remote or timed delay to eliminate camera movement? |
