Looks like a great place to go, but the image seems a little busy to me. This shot has great potential under much different circumstances. I would recommend trying this exact same shot in the early morning (right after sunrise) with a much slower shutter speed. The moving water will have a very soft, magical feel to it. If you're lucky, you will have some steam coming off the water and the lighting won't be so harsh.

Not sure how to critique a picture of a painting. It's a nice painting but the toe jamb kinda throws it off a bit. It's a "sorta of" creative shot. Just not too powerful. Better luck next time.

This looks like such a peaceful spot, I wish it was more of a horizontal or panorama photo - to give me an even greater sense of it's tranquility. I like the reflective colors in the water.

I don't know, the painting is beautiful, and a great portrait, but to take a picture of a beautiful portrait, add a brush/foot, and make it "your" portrait doesn't quite seem right.
