muz64....the bubbles only line up for a brief period after turning the bottle upside down and righting it. After a few seconds they randomize.

pearlseyes: Reversing a 50mm lens is a tried & true way of doing macros without an expensive macro lens. You basically attach the lens to the camera backwards using an adaptor or even sticky tape. Another way is to use extension tubes between the body & the lens - which allow you to focus much closer, and thus get higher magnification.
