The image should have been crisper for such a static set up. There are a few distractions that dont make sense in this image. The blue and white log sticking up out of i dont know where blocking the shoe behind it. A yellos womething and a bigger green something in the back row.

i bet most those shoes are from payless shoesource.. hehe i work there so i recongnize them.. nice concept for the shot although it seems poorly lit and somewhat out of focus..

The composition is fairly bland. The slightly military effect of the uniform lines doesn't seem to be as strong as it could be, maybe if all the shoes were white and you picked out one 'odd' pink pair with a short DOF perhaps?. the focus isn't sharp enough, the wall to the right of the shot doesn't serve any purpose, the shot could have been taken a bit to the left. I don't see how 9 pairs of shoes is an addiction also. It's hardly Imelda Marcos. The shoes are quite dinky and sweet, another idea... maybe a macro shot focusing on some of the cute details would have been more effective?

It might be my eyes but the focus looks a little too soft for this image!
