I only found the place as I was driving out looking for a place to shoot the trains coming in. I think it was probably the last weekend that they were out riding, as it started getting pretty cold after that. You should head out the come spring time. They are all hams and love having their photo taken! They thought I was from the paper to start with...

I need to find some winter sports to shoot now. Maybe Ice Hockey...

Yellowstone. It was acutally one of those happy accidents. I'd been shooting the moose as he walked acroos the lake to get to an island and didn't realise he'd gone into shadow until I reviewed the shots when I got home. Turned out to be one of the best ones I got of him. Funny old thing life.

This is a really nice shot. Great colors and I like the way those poles frame the sunset. The only thing I can say is that it looks a little bit tilted.
