The in-focus area is too far away. I would have placed it closer to the bottom of the frame. Nice shot, though.

Not sure on the DOF here. I think it would be improved with having the closest bark the sharpest instead of the middle.

I like this down on the ground looking up effect but it isn't in sharp focus, so it sort of loses it's oomph. The color of the leaves are good. Maybe you could have upped the blue of the sky to give it a bit of contrast? Hope this is helpful.

Not a bad idea, to photograph a family buisness but this photo doesn´t really work in that regard as I have no clue on what the family buisness is after seeing this. What I am suggesting is that next time you take a step back and try an environmental portrait approach and show what it is that they are doing. I can´t tell if they are bagging groceries, sewing, wrapping a brand new 1Ds mkII in gift paper for your special someone or writing a nobel prize book

Also the image quality isn´t very good, there are a couple of very ood lines that lead through the lady in the bottom left corners face and over the yellow t-shirt and there doesn´t seem to be any one point in this shot that is spot on in focus.

Gave the shot a 4.
