5 - I like the concept and that you didn't 'explain' your year (don't need to). A photo of this in a time capsule would fairly well depict the era for future generations. Criticism; I would like to see more 'context' somehow, even a wider angle if that were possible. I can see you have applied some effects but I think you haven't quite nailed the 'feel' I guess you were going for. Perhaps a little lighter and possibly some grain, not sure.

we went for similar ideas. I like that you incorporated more elemnts into your screen to match up with the background. The sleeve into the hand on the screen is also a great touch. The wood desktop surface does't really compliment the image, though. overall, well done.

Very original take on the challenge! Wanna see how you got the arm to blend with the hand! Too bad your laptop image is so flat in color... I know you wanted it darker, but the hand don't look quite right. Your lighting is a little harsh on the background too.
