Aside from that half a tree on the left hand side, this is a nice, simple black & white image. Crisp, clean, with the tracks leading the viewer to towards the mountains.

A super location, however this image doesn't do it justice. The bright sun wasn't kind to you at all. I think for this to work better a different time of day may have assisted. In addition maybe a more grungy or B&W would have made it 'feel' more.

This has a snapshot feel to it, rather than a considered portrait. The background is somewhat distracting - next time take time to scan your eyes around the viewfinder to make sure that you only have those elements that you intend to include. I suspect that this is a bonny little girl, and she appears to have heaps of character, but you have caught her in an unflattering pose.
