Blending Inby tooterComment by OpenMaTT: I like the subject, but the composition just seems centered and dull. Not much contrast. |

Branchesby tooterComment by macrothing: The composition seems off in this image and not sure the hue of the tone is enhancing it, especially in the sky. Image looks tilted, but could be perspective. |

Branchesby tooterComment by timwest167: Great composition and moody. The trextures are good too. Shame that the sky is quite uninteresting - this would be brilliant if it had a moody cloudy sky. Perhaps one for a reshoot when the sky is better...? Well done! |

Evening Riverby tooterComment by one2one: I'm most probably not the first to say this. It's lacking in contrast a bit. I know you'll most likely lose detail in the left side tree line by adding contrast but that won't matter. The overall gain in blacks and whites will make this an even better looking image.
It's a beautiful landscape that captures the challenge well with the water encompassing the foreground leading us to the horizon and the mountains. Lovely composition. |

Which Way Did He Goby tooterComment by jonfrommk: OK, after last weeks pet portraits if you had told me that an image of an animal would be in my top three sor this challenge I would have called you mad....but I would have been wrong.
This is one of the best pet images that I have ever seen, wonderful composition with the dogs back creating a strong leading light
Really strong black and whites and the sunlight on the snow really does work well here
Superb and bumping to 10 |

Harleyby tooterComment by tnun: Deceptively straightforward portrait. White background and sharpened details of Harley's fur perfectly suit the kind of dog he is. Shiny brown eyes make accessible an almost intimidating stance, especially from this effective POV. |
