I gave this a 7. I love the high contrast look that you achieved with the processing. I like the subject and the composition. I surely would have expected a higher score. Perhaps it's too "arty" for DPC.

Hah! Bad taste indeed. You know what - this is one of those that wouldnt score well at DPC, but put this on a canvas print at 20x30 (at least) and I bet you would sell a couple of them - more than I would if I did the same with my recent cardinal shot. Personally I would love to have this image as my own. And if it were mine I would have easily entered it over the image I did. No second thoughts. Forget the score - you have a great image here.
