lol, you sent me to this as a 'not so good' shot but it still scored 5.8 ;) This fits the 'mother' challenge well and in an amusing way but the bench seems to take up too much of the frame for me and think the top of the bench should have been straight? Am not sure what lens you used but if its was not already wide open you could have opened it up and blurred the rather busy bg some more.

I'm not sure what this is. Is it a bark beetle, which would make sense given the challenge? Also the shadows at the lower end are blocked.

Beautiful. The mood here is very calm, and I like how the eye is immediately drawn in to the waterdrop. The out of focus areas really complement the background.
