The angle of this combined with the harsh shadows on the wall behind him and the black and white gives it a bit of a somber look that kind of makes me feel like this is a shot of a person on a morgue table, laying down instead of standing. This falls really flat to me.

I don't think this image has anything to do with the challenge. I am not voting on this image but if I did I would more than likely give it a 4 or lower. Reason being, I don't think you met the challenge's request to take an image of a stock photo of fitness.

Other than that I would see a doctor about the marks on your stomach.
