IMHO it would have been better without the dog and the canoe. As a 'trees reflectied in water' shot it is pretty good, certainly a pituresque scene. But the dog is just distracting and seems out of place.

Including a pet in a picture will often kill a shot stone dead if it isn't absolutely perfect. But, you have hit the challenge full in the face. The composition couldn't be better, the lighting is perfect and the dog's pose and expression are both spot on target. The reflections in the water are superb and you have captured a mood of calmness in the shot that works really well. Great shooting (10) Good luckâ€Â¦
