Tidal Crash.JPGby CaltropComment by Melethia: Obvious easy fix here is to straighten the horizon. The composition is nicely balanced - like the use of the bush in the front left. |

Keeping an eye on you.jpgby CaltropComment by Melethia: Very cool dude! I'm partial to lizards. The leaf/stem on the left, while providing for a nice natural frame, is a bit "heavy" to me. Even though by removing it, the lizard is looking out of the frame, I think it frees up the shot nicely. Great color, great crispness to this shot. |

California Wildfireby CaltropComment by Melethia: Great action shot and while it may not be "DPC pretty", it has substance to it and a story to go with it. Having lived in soCal more than once, I can appreciate the eerie beauty and staggering fear that such a sight can produce. |

Sorrowby CaltropComment by Konador: I think the levels need to be adjusted slightly so make the area surrounding the window actually black, rather than red like it is now. |

Sorrowby CaltropComment by drydoc: I love the simplicity of this image. Even without a title it conjures up a feeling. BOL. My only comment from a personal taste is, I would like to have seen something (even if faint) of the wall. . . especially if it was wallpaper. 7 here |

Sorrowby CaltropComment by Kivet: I lIke the lighting and setup and your framing on this. It just feels like it needs something else, not sure what, maybe a person, lady or kid looking out the window. Maybe if the chair didnt have so much stuff in it and we could see tha back of it, since its all blacked out it might have been better to see the whole back of the chair. |
