Nice portrait, although I am not sure it screams stand up comic to me. Compositionally strong and I like the slightly unusual positioning of the subject. Good technicals. especially given his checked shirt

Don't really understand the environment part. It says stand-up comic but there's no mic or something to indicate he's a comic. Technically speaking though it's a nice portrait.

Nice portrait and nice lighting on the face. However, without the title it is just a well groomed man standing in front of a black backdrop. The environment (nothing in this picture) does not convey anything to do with stand up comedy. Maybe a microphone on the right would help fill the empty space on that side of the image. And, it may be cheesy or cliche, but how bout a red brick wall for a background? ...4

Good lighting and interesting composition. But there is nothing here that tells me this guy is a stand-up comic. So in short, the photo is lacking the basic part of an env. portrait - the environment itself.
