Beautiful. I love the warm highlights and muted colors through out the shot. I especially love the light as it hits the lamp and lamp post. Nice wispy clouds as well which were gladly not overdone with Topaz or like software. :)

I see what appears to be the Golden Gate bridge in the background. I might guess this to be Fisherman's Wharf, but if it's first light the direction of the Sun would be wrong. Hmmmmm...perhaps it not...unless it's really last light. :)

Fantstic composition. I do not light the brightness of the light as I think it distracts the eye. Would like to have seen this photo just before daybreak or sunset.

Should have ended up much higher, because of the idea. I think the DPC'ers forgot that it was supposed to be about items that would FAIL, and this is a perfect example. The monster perhaps needed a backlight to make it stand out, still a 9 from me.
