When Water Breaks Free.......by kenskidComment by bvoi: Good choice of content. I'm feeling like you need to crop in from the left. The tall tree is framing the building nicely, but then you have this gap of blue sky that holds the eye and keeps it from focusing on the house. On location, moving closer and to the right would help. This is also a good candidate for some more post processing. Looks like it is straight out of the camera.
Boost the contrast. Darken the corners, particularly in the sky.

When Water Breaks Free.......by kenskidComment by KarenNfld: Wow, what devastation. Certainly meets the theme, good composition as well to show more elements around the house and not just the house itself. And the tree standing tall there sort of represents nature's triumph over man, don't you think? |

When Water Breaks Free.......by kenskidComment by sarnewfie: This captures the word to a tee, what a twisted mess of homes and property, how sad for people, to bad they cant choose to live more inland, hard to do i am sure as living waterside is a wonderful thing, but, all things come with risk.
hopefully the rebuilding has started.
You captured this well therefore a high score for you. |

Nice sharp focus. |
