Fleowersby AntithesisComment by mariomel: Hey that's my cat! Or at least one just like it. LOL. Nice compsition. It would have been nice to avoid the bookcase on the left, and I wish the colours were a bit punchier. Otherwise, very nice. |

Fleowersby AntithesisComment by daysez: The depth of focus you have acheved is fantastic and the flowers add a nice touch of color, but in my opinion the cat looking directly out of the frame is distracting, I want to see what the cat is looking at. |

OMG!! Caution: Above!!!by AntithesisComment by Antithesis: WOW, another awesome bell curve.
Thank you all for your comments/suggestions.
Yes, the camera says F4.0. Actually, the G1 will only go as small as F8.0, so a F22 is quite impossible. I'm hoping for a surprise birthday present though, so who knows.

The Unheardby AntithesisComment by Antithesis: What a lovely bell curve!!!
Thanks all for the comments!
It really is a square. The pic size ended up not square because of how I cropped it. And the subject is the whole picture, not just the screaming lunatic, as you can now understand from the description, I hope. And there is no added border, it is actually a small window in my bathroom door, presumably for the purpose of being able to see if the light is on so you don't walk in on somebody using it. That is my face, but I really don't look like a pig, really, I don't, I swear, I'm not a pig, OK, and I don't have beady eyes.

Fleowersby AntithesisComment by LindaLee: Wonderful shot, the lighting is lovely. Only gripe- wish the cat was looking at the camera! Nevertheless, it's beautiful. |

Fleowersby AntithesisComment by mcrael: Beautiful shot - I love the lighting and your cat's eyes. The pink flowers in the background add a nice splash of color and interest. In a landscape format, this photo would look nice in a calendar. |

Fleowersby AntithesisComment by jeremycole: Would be better if the cat's nose/face were in focus instead of the right back side... try using manual spot focus, centering on the cat's nose, letting the camera focus, and then shifting the camera right for the framed shot. |

Fleowersby AntithesisComment by PTLParsons: Beautiful cat but too dark on the cat. In my opinion the light and dark should have been reversed. But it is a beautiful cat. |

Fleowersby AntithesisComment by dadas115: I wish the eyes were just a tad sharper. Nice lighting and wonderful pose. The background is a bit distracting. It might have been better with less DOF.
