This is quite nice. I don't like the random spots of blurriness or that the background looks like it's giving off alot of light.. The hair on your model looks like it's in a cloud. Also, the hand is really distracting. I feel like I should be focusing on his eye, but the hand distracts me. I don't know that that could be avoided, however..

Nice idea - Maybe could have added some impact by bringing the instruments really up close to the camera to add some drama and fill in the dark outsides.
