A nice picture which could have been even better with a little better focus and a little less burning in the sky IMHO - BUT I love the colors and overall the picture :o)

I like the composition, the expression, and this is nicely painted. It does strike me as a little blurry, which -- while surely only natural for a human subject, and not very badly so -- still ends up being a bit distracting to me. Still gets a 7 from me, though. A tad of cropping off the top might have even gotten it to an 8.
