Extremely close and in your face. I'd like to see shot details, EXIF and camera/lens info. It is harsh and I prefer to see the cells in focus, not just the rind/skin.

The clarity and focus in much better with this version. I have not tried this type of shot, but I feel just a little more detail in the rind could help. Maybe a small reflector to put just a little light there.

Delicious glowing color. Such nice subtle patterns in the pulp, gently confined by the membrane. I kind of miss the detail in the rind that you had in the other - maybe a function of the lighting, maybe of the fruit. If it's the lighting, could you combine images to get this gentler light on the pulp and something brighter on the rind?

I like this one better than the orange. Everything is more in focus. Having more of the lime in the frame is ideal. I think it would really look cool if you cropped it in such a way that you do not see any of the white background. Makes for an interesting abstract. Nice.

There's something about this that doesn't quite work for me. I'm not sure if it's the angle or the bright white against the darker yellow.
