B&W portraiture is my favorite. This really works for me- the noise works to your advantage. The only thing I'd like to see is a different composition/framing. Dead center shots always put you at risk of the 'mug-shot' syndrome. It's not my shot, but I'd like to see his eyes pop and maybe that collar, it might also give it a different feel. This is a great shot and I didn't want this to end without letting you know that. Great photo.

Good shot although I feel like you've added some noise artifically and to my taste this is detrimental to the picture. It somehowe doesn't look real. If I'm not wrong, you have applied it using a filter so that it does not affect the dark background which is a good idea, but it seems to show near his right hear, and still applies to other dark areas on the face.
