I think it is well known that the dark art is much more fun to do. :) I think the background is ok - overall very effective.

The background is a little to monochromatic for my liking. There are different colours in there, but they all kind of blend too well and I find it detracts from really looking like Hell or the Inferno.

Actually, it's been bothering me, but what this photo is missing is sweat. You have that look like you're working hard or doing something strenuous yet the forehead and shirt are dry.
