I suspect your message may be a little obtuse for many - I hope I'm wrong. I like the parallels - the highs and lows of the wave of horizon framing the parallel points of the subjects; also like the reliance on the smallest possible details to carry the message - gives us some idea of a sense of futility in both these aspirations.

yes,unfortunately touching the nest or moving it is what killed them ive seen it happen before,after being touched by humans the adults stop feeding them,its strange behavior indeed but at least you can remember the experience with this great shot,i too was hoping to get a similar shot but something else found my little friends before i could get back with my camera...

interesting and subtle idea. at first i thought 'no dichotomy here', but after looking and thinking some more - oooo, well done. my only quibble is with the colours in the sky - they're very 'curves' saturated (if you put the curves layer on luminosity, it takes the colours back to normal). i hope everyone takes the time to look at this closely.
