Maiden With The Seagullby gocComment by Mambe: From the Critique Club :
Hello Goran ,
Thanks for giving all those informations in the Photographer's Comments box !
Your country seems beautiful and it has been a pleasure to visit your web site , it's full of stunning photos.
About the settings of your camera I have noticed that Contrast,Saturation,Sharpness are set high , you maybe could have more power to play with those values during the edition.
Does your photo meet the challenge ? I think it does well but maybe others were thinking about newspapers.
Mediterranean sea has a magical and clear lighting , I like your photo very much , the composition is good , the colors are nice ,maybe the blue tones are a bit over saturated (on the middle of the photo , left hand , less in the right hand).
It has a classic appealling but maybe have not a wow factor.
Please free feel to email me about this critique ,
Mambe

The Mother Of God Churchby gocComment by KarenNfld: Image is very dark, although I do like the bits of green and yellow lights throughout. I don't think the church is prominent enough in the photo |

The Mother Of God Churchby gocComment by Jaded_Housewife: wow. intersting. think it would have made a better night shot than holy place since the "holy place" is such a small part of the overall impact of this photo though. 8 |

Deep Penetration Comet - (1956., Disaster, B&W, Director unknown)by gocComment by ubique: I want to dislike this and dismiss it, but I just can't. It's really so awful that it's good, and I'm sure that the movie it's promoting would be every bit as wonderful, too. One of those made-in-a-weekend art house classics, probably with Samuel L Jackson working for free in a supporting role. I'd see it, for sure. 6. |
