Interesting image and I commend you for going out on a limb and trying something conceptual, but I don't know if the raven and the title alone will meet the cut-throat DPC standards. I think it might have been stronger with another element in the photo that implies a more literal sign of things to come, just to compliment the allusion to Edgar Allen Poe's, The Raven. Technically, it seems like it could use some work with contrast as well. Lots of gray, but no real black or white, at least on my monitor. I think its a neat shot compositionally and really like the fact that you tried the conceptual route, maybe just needs a bit more to really nail the challenge.

Beautiful, love the oof rounds in the back, the pinkish tones work well here. However, IMHO the subject needs to have something clearer than it is for the image to work. Right now the focus seems to be on the metal hanger, not the drop, and it should be on the drop I think. IMO again, the black border hurts the image here, it makes it look heavy, and the gist of the image is light and ephimery, not heavyness. ~5
