This is nicely done, I like the soft light and especially the "waves" at the bottom of the glass. I think most people will expect clearly visible "trails" of light, so you might get voted down.

catchy title. not really sure why you went with a wine glass, seems to be a popular subject here. Leaves me wondering what that lime is doing in the glass. Could have gone more surreal with this one though technically it is very good and the use of light is nice.

The first thing I notice about this photo is how much I really don't like the border. If I notice the border more than the photo, I'd say it's not a great border. DOF works well here, with an interesting background. Butterfly is nice and sharp. Not convinced by the composition/crop though, what is the most important part of the shot that you want people to look at? How are you communicating that?
