This has great potential to it. A boost in the contrast and a slight level adjustment would definitely make this a great image. The clouds against the silhouette of the trees add dimension and texture and depth to this image. Great shot and timing on this one.

First Impression
Very Nice emotive shot. Reading your comments, looks like she has better career in acting.
Composition:
Just perfect.
Subject:
Nice take on the challenge.
Technical (Colour and light):
The color and lighting are spot on. B&W is the perfect choice.
Improvement:
Nothing much really. If I have to be picky, I would say she is looking outside the frame. At least one of these object in the left side like letter, flower or ring would have made it a story.
Summary:
Very nice emotive image, perfect for the challenge.
