	Bell Pepper Detail by davidw Comment by geinafets: The stem and the pepper are similar shades of gray. Different shades (possibly obtained through a different black and white conversion?) might have added some interest to this shot.

	Bell Pepper Detail by davidw Comment by Melethia: I like the way the skin on these looks when the color is removed - allows you to focus on the texture of it. Could be red, could be green, doubt it's yellow (due to the contrast of the stem). For a slightly more dynamic image, you could try setting the stem at an angle when you compose the shot.
