Halloween Already?by AkashaComment by persimon: Gosh - already have a carved pumpkin? It isn't cool enough here in Ft. Worth to keep carved pumpkins out. We usually have to wait until the night before Halloween. The nose on the pumpkin reminds me of the way the noses are drawn in the old Popeye cartoons. |

I do like the way the pumpkin fills the photo. Not sure what to suggest to improve it. Perhaps less direct lighting or a different (solid?) background?

Refreshing Orange Juiceby AkashaComment by sestevens: This is suffering from a few things...firstly, there's a lot of noise in the photograph and it's lacking any focus. Compositionally, this could benefit from a few things, but the biggest is the glass itself. Hard to get the gist of orange juice in a blue cup. :) |
