Love the pose, almost like you told him what to do! I tend to like more contrasty stuff but not sure if you would have lost some detail in the fur. Great capture!

Guess I must be an oddball.
I never even saw the legs missing, nor does it bother me. I would be curious to see what this would look like with more foreground, but I liked it as it is, mostly due to the perspective and 3D presence.

This image, I feel, is pretty brilliant, and it's just too bad that voters probably didn't look at it hard enough, or they just found it not as vacuously pretty as others. Nice gradation of light and use of silhouettes.

To be honest, out of all your challenge entries, I find this the least appealing. There's a haziness around the entire image, and perhaps more contrast would help. Compositionally, I'm not digging it much either. There's something disturbing about all those people with their legs chopped off. The background could have been something, but the foreground doesn't do enough anchoring for the shot, I think.

This shot has a potential for that "wow" factor. I think it's simply missing a bit of contrast values. The composition is very nice, the story is there, and the artistic value is definitely also present. Bump the contrast up, I say...
