I envisioned just such an image but couldn't pull it off. If he were looking a bit more toward the camera, it would be perfect but still, very emotive and makes you want to grab a fan. The hot spot on his head hurts it a bit overall but that is also what makes him sweat, so it all works.

It's difficult, I think, with this kind of shot, to make the dcision about quite how much environment to include, and quite how much 'portrait'; I think you've struck that balance pretty well here - thanks to your capture of detail. The added mystery of precisely what activity is going on here adds interest, and the sense of brightness without over-exposure is good.
