This has a very Ansel Adams Feel to it. The contrast of the dark, deep rich blacks, and the fluffy white snow is very well done.

I'm giving your photo a 10. The only 'ding' I could see and it's just personal taste is your border. I think if you added a small 2-4 pixel border first, then a thinner white border followed lastly by a black border like you have, it may have helped just a tad more. Like I said, it's great...one of the few 10's I've given out so far after 234 entry views (I've not been impressed this free challenge). I hope it does well for you.
