Maybe charlie is something exciting in this image - all i see is a pile of shoes. I pile my shoes up the same way in the hall so there is nothing exciting or exceptionally captivating about this image. It is something in our everyday lifee that we walk past and try to ignore, to photograph it would warent a similar responce from a viewer.

The right bottom corner can be cropped. And a little more soft illumination to avoid the dark parts and shadows.
