	the great blue by the great ubaldo Comment by Melethia: Couldn't figure out what this was at first, but I think it's an exercise ball with a light shining on it. It's a bit fuzzy and probably needs something else to set it off for perspective.

It could be a main character of the composition. And the photo needs more light, and more diffused light IMO. Compact camera flashes are hardly good enough for lighting.

	the great blue by the great ubaldo Comment by ericpi: The ball is certainly blue, and the concentric circles make a nice pattern. Overall, however, the image is a single color that fills almost the entire frame, making the shot look somewhat uninteresting. Plus, you have to be careful when using the flash close up-- it can give a harsh reflection.
