Thanks for the comments. Yeah Larus, I knew it was very much like that photo you linked to, which then again is also very much like my own photo from last year which was second in that same competition (the two of us were standing next to each other while shooting). I was just there again this year at the same location with a group of friends and didn't feel like leaving the group to get a different angle. But I understand completely why you would give a lower score for a photo you feel you have seen before, and I wondered if that would happen but decided to submit it anyway. Thanks for the comment though.

Lovely wide angle effect. I wish the top of that firework wasn't cut off, but then again you would probably need a REALLY wide angle to catch that ;]
