Toning on this a little harsh on the red side. Think it would have been better with softer colors. The image itself is interesting. Not sure what I am supposed to take from it. I think the toning is in contrast to the purpose of the image unless the birth of venus was a difficult thing. Not up on my myths. Interesting take non-the-less. 6 - good luck in the challenge.

It feels like the focus is on the shell and not on the birth. I see that the baby moved too. I like the red tint of the photo. I wish you the best of luck.

I think that the image may be slightly over sharpened. I also don't like the general color, it's a bit red, I think a straight black and white may have done this a bit better justice. Great idea however, very origional.
