this photo is so upclose. the texture is almost overwhelming. i wish the top of the shoelace was in focus along with the rest of it.

7 - Good shot. Looks like a macro. Like the texture capture and the focus. Criticism; maybe a different angle, different cropping and possibly the use of a frame, not sure.

harshing lighting will get ya every time, assuming this wasn't the effect you were going for in the camera. I thiink if the colors were good, the slugg green on the lake was green it would had a better effect for me.........4

This seems overprocessed to me. The large leaves in the corner seem out of place and I would have liked the shot more had they not been there.
