unconditionalby tateComment by LindaLee: A sweet shot, but it leaves me wanting more! But I guess that's not really a bad thing. This is a shot that you could just look at over and over again. It speaks volumes with a minimum of information. I find myself wanting to see more of the baby, but then again, that's probably what makes me keep looking at it. I like it. |

Willby tateComment by sherpet: What a wonderful old character you have taken here called Will, and a great image as well. You have certainly captured city life at it's best..... |

Willby tateComment by Lustre: Stunning portrait! Need I say any more? Colour is brilliant, composition is great. Bordering on being over-sharpened, but not quite (for this size at least). Perhaps for this challenge placing him in the city (via the background) would have been effective, but it's still a great shot. |

unconditionalby tateComment by macrothing: 7 - Like this and the subtlety. Criticism; depending what you had to work with of course, but more of the baby's hand and a little sharper on it, a fraction softer on 'Mother's' face and an adjustment/softening of the skin (looks a little 'blotchy', but could be the toning), all likely make this even better in my opinion. I like the crop/framing, with the Mother's face in the top of the frame at this angle. The little hair showing through does add something, but I think a fraction more may have given a 'inner' framing effect to this, not sure though. The glare/reflection on the lipstick(?) slightly detracts, but minor - and obviously 'your call' on having Mother wearing lipstick anyway. |
