HAWKEYEby tateComment by EricMGB1974: It's an impressive shot, but I think it could stand on it's own without the special effects partial desaturation. |

HAWKEYEby tateComment by digitalknight: beautiful photo that the PP just ruins for me - sorry. The desat doesn't have to go ALL the way to B&W. You can draw your audiences attention with just a subtle desat on the bird, and gentle push on the sat on the eye and we'll get it without it feeling so contrived or unnatural.
The glow round the edges of the bird makes me wonder what's up with the processing too. Burning the background until it's gone?
Again, beautiful lighting and focus. |

HAWKEYEby tateComment by Tlemetry: There is a halo of chromatic aboration around the subject. beautiful focus and texture. Very ominous. |

HAWKEYEby tateComment by ergo: lots of halos around edges, particularly around the beak and the right boundary between bird body and background. not effective for me. |

detailby tateComment by EricMGB1974: Great textural detail. I also like the juxtaposition of the living ivy crossing the shot at an angle over the inanimate straight edged bricks, further enhanced by the color contrast. |

renewalby tateComment by Breeee123: Hmm... I really like the idea, but this looks like a computer monitor or tv screen in the background. Maybe if the lines weren't there, and the colors were a little softer this would work better. |

renewalby tateComment by naplesmusc: I like the idea, but I think there are 3 major elements that drop the score. There are several lines around the sun. The line of the wine does not follow the very straight horizon. The forefinger is distracting - being away from the others. 5. |
