beautiful photo that the PP just ruins for me - sorry. The desat doesn't have to go ALL the way to B&W. You can draw your audiences attention with just a subtle desat on the bird, and gentle push on the sat on the eye and we'll get it without it feeling so contrived or unnatural.

The glow round the edges of the bird makes me wonder what's up with the processing too. Burning the background until it's gone?

Again, beautiful lighting and focus.

Great textural detail. I also like the juxtaposition of the living ivy crossing the shot at an angle over the inanimate straight edged bricks, further enhanced by the color contrast.

Hmm... I really like the idea, but this looks like a computer monitor or tv screen in the background. Maybe if the lines weren't there, and the colors were a little softer this would work better.

I like the idea, but I think there are 3 major elements that drop the score. There are several lines around the sun. The line of the wine does not follow the very straight horizon. The forefinger is distracting - being away from the others. 5.
