cave / manby tateComment by Beetle: I love how this photo plays tricks on my eyes when I stare at it for a while. One moment I see the darkness on the right as the foreground wall it really is, then it changes to looking as if the light colored rock was jutting out into a black abyss. |

memory of a boyby tateComment by posthumous: brilliant motion blur, fantastic composition. I knew there was some reason I made you a fave photog. It wasn't for your charm and good looks! |

cave / manby tateComment by alexjack: nice idea, imo if you'd have framed this a bit differently, say with him lower in the frame and more negative space this would have been better - still good though

memory of a boyby tateComment by TooCool: Great treatment. I'm assuming that you chose b/w for this because of the overly contrasty lighting. I think that you chose properly for this one.

DSC_7205-640.jpgby tateComment by colorcarnival: It's one of those photos that seem so simple and at first make you ask - why would one photograph this? Then it begs you to look at it a little longer to see if you missed anything.
I like how you used the shadows as diagonals in the pic. Did you desat the ground? |
