I like it. I think I would like it better without the noise. It gives me a feel of danger -- a whirling into a black hole. Or perhaps -- down the drain into nothingness.

The led flashlight has 3 small lights on the end. They were partly diffused with a white plastic bag. The effect is generated depening on how the lights are positioned in relation to the direction that the light is moving. Hopefully this helps.
