W e n z a (Day 2)by CalliopeKelComment by Artyste: I also think this could be improved with a little more clean-up work and some contrast work as well... although to be honest, the whole composition is really something I'd just re-try.
The face is hilarious, but perhaps if it was done more towards the camera, so that she's got a connection with us, it would work better. |

Fervor (Day 1)by CalliopeKelComment by Artyste: A good choice for the stark contrast here. Adds something to the photo in terms of mood. The grain is actually quite nice too.. nostalgic. |

W e n z a (Day 2)by CalliopeKelComment by KarenNfld: LOL! My 15 year old niece makes the same expression with her mouth! Interesting way you have processed this, she seems to blend into the background. |

W e n z a (Day 2)by CalliopeKelComment by violinist123: Like the processing you used here. Quite a bit actually. Have to be honest - I hate the expression on her face. It's just not working for me on any level - scary, humorous, weird - just looks like a pretty girl who ruined your shot lol. But whatever, obviously it's an out-there shot and that isn't going to resonate with all viewers. Goofy friend aside, nice work. |

Fervor (Day 1)by CalliopeKelComment by violinist123: Very nice. I like the high contrast processing and the 'pose' your cat let you shoot it in works well. Nice hint of some grain going on that enhances the overall photo as well. |

Fervor (Day 1)by CalliopeKelComment by Bruce_the_Robert: The high contrast here works great. I really like this, with excellent tones through the face, sharpness (but not too much) in the whiskers, and effective use of grain in the shadows and the background. Nice. |

W e n z a (Day 2)by CalliopeKelComment by Bruce_the_Robert: I think with some advanced editing this shot could really scare, I mean, sparkle ;) The edges of your model's hair are a bit frizzy, and could probably be cleaned up with some spot editing, and as Keith said, the skin tones are sometimes a bit close to the background tones. I think the composition here works, and the expression is definitely one to capture! |
