Vintage Dollby CalliopeKelComment by Kavey: This has quite a retro feel to it. I really like the eye contact, the high contrast, high noise black and white treatment, the strength of shape given to it by the edge of the cap and your crop. |

Vintage Dollby CalliopeKelComment by ArnarH: Would look better if there were some texture in the white shirt, is too over exposured for my opinion, a bit too much contrast I guess. But what do I know! I like everything else about this picture, it's a 8 |

Three's a Crowdby CalliopeKelComment by KiwiShotz: Lovely image, really interesting and a good storyteller. I usually hate verticals not vertical but I think it has enough here to work. |

Vintage Dollby CalliopeKelComment by just-married: Great expression! I like the crop as well. The conversion is a little contrasty for my taste, but it works. I like the added grain too. I think the eyes look unnaturally dodged. The butterfly in the hat draws my eye a bit away from her face, so I might have cropped down a bit further, but that's just a nitpick. |

Trustby CalliopeKelComment by dahkota: I've been looking at your images of people for quite a while and can't decide if your a master at snapping or editing. I truly think its a bit of both. I notice it more when you photograph your children; all seem as if the viewer is in a dreamlike state. For me, the best photographers allow you to see through their eyes, if only for a moment, a glimpse of their reality. You acheive that extremely well. This particular image is beautiful. Perfectly composed, lit, and edited. |
